Series
Multi-cure
Four cure routes, one bottle
A single grade with four cure routes: an oven, UV light, a free-radical initiator or a catalyst. It is the grade to start with when the line is not settled yet, and the one that lets a moulder and a coater share a drum. The same bottle also serves composites: it wets a preform or a porous part and cures there.
Grades in this series
| Grade | Viscosity | Pencil hardness | Contact angle | Heat resistance | Ceramizable |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SF-180VP | 35–55 cSt @ 25 °C | 6H | 107° | 500 °C continuous in air; 1000 °C peak after ceramization | Yes |
All figures measured on 304 stainless steel, spin-coated to a 4 µm film and air dried.
How to choose inside this series
If the part can be baked, use the oven route because it needs no additive. On a line that cannot be heated, the UV or catalytic route is the reason to choose this series over the heat-cured one.
