Grade selector
Three questions decide the grade: can the part be heated, how thin the film has to be, and what the surface has to resist.
Choosing between twenty-three grades is mostly three questions, and the catalogue does the filtering for you.
1. Can the part be heated?
If it cannot, the choice is between the room-temperature fast cure and the slower series. If it can, the heat-cured, multi-cure and modified series are open.
2. How thin does the film have to be?
Viscosity decides what a coat looks like: the low-viscosity grades give a 4–6 µm film and penetrate a porous body, the high-viscosity grade builds a thicker layer.
3. What does the surface have to resist?
Abrasion, water, oil, temperature, oxidation or sticking. Each of those points at a different series, and the modified series exist precisely for the last three.
The full table, with filters and sorting, is in the catalogue. Take the sample from there: 10 g is enough to coat a test part twice.
