About Sanfan
A polysilazane plant in Nanjing, a catalogue of 23 grades, and a business built on answering technical mail properly.
Sanfan makes polysilazane in Nanjing and sells it to people who formulate with it. The plant capacity is around 5,000 tonnes a year, and the material has been going abroad for more than ten years, to customers in over fifty countries.
What we make
We make the resin, not the finished paint. That distinction decides what this website can honestly offer: a grade, a specification and a cure schedule, not a coating service. Our customers add their own solvent, filler and adhesion promoter, or they pass the drum to a formulator who does.
Why the catalogue is small
Eight series and twenty-three grades, not eighty. Each grade exists because a customer needed a viscosity, a cure route or a modification that the neighbouring grade did not give. A catalogue that grows without that reason becomes a list nobody can choose from.
How we work
Ask with the part in mind: the substrate, the cure conditions and the property that has to be met. The answer is a grade, a sample from 10 g and, where it matters, a suggestion to try two grades rather than one. Our reply time is one business day.
What we do not claim
No certification badge, no “world-leading”, no customer logos on this site. The numbers carry their test conditions instead, and where we have not measured something yet, the row is absent rather than filled with a guess.
