Terms of Service

What the figures on this site mean, what a quotation contains, and what stays the buyer's decision.

These terms apply to this website, to a sample request and to a quotation request. A supply contract is a separate document, and where the two differ the supply contract wins.

This site is information, not an offer

Nothing here is a price, an order or a binding offer. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment on this site. A quotation we send you is the offer: it states the trade term, the quantity, the packaging, the price, the validity and the delivery time. A price without those is not a quotation.

Technical data

  • Every figure is a typical value for the grade, measured under the conditions printed beside it. It is not a specification for your application.
  • A figure describes a film on the substrate named in the test conditions — 304 stainless steel, aluminium or glass — at the film thickness stated. Your substrate, your surface preparation and your cure schedule will move the number.
  • The current technical data sheet for a grade governs. Where this website and the current TDS differ, the TDS wins. Ask for the version that belongs to the batch you are qualifying.
  • Qualify the material on your own parts before you commit a production line to it. That is what a 10 g sample is for.

Samples

Samples are charged, are not returnable, and start at 10 g. They are produced and dispatched within one week of an order. Dangerous goods add about two weeks for the packing certificate and the booking, which is a carrier’s timetable rather than ours.

Handling and safety

Polysilazanes react with water and with alcohols, and the reaction releases gas. Read the safety data sheet before you open a container. Keep containers sealed, between 5 and 25 °C, away from light. The safety data sheet is sent by email on request; it is not published on this site. The buyer is responsible for the safe handling, storage, use and disposal of the material on their own premises, and for training the people who do it.

Export control and sanctions

Some grades and some destinations need an export licence, and some destinations cannot be supplied at all. The buyer confirms that the material will not be re-exported or used in breach of the export-control and sanctions rules that apply to it. Where a licence is needed we may decline an order or hold it until the licence is granted.

Intellectual property

The text, the technical data sheets, the photographs and the grade codes on this site belong to Nanjing Sanfan Chemical Co., Ltd. You may download a TDS and pass it to your own colleagues and customers in the course of using the material. You may not republish it as your own, or use our name to endorse a product of yours. Product names and trademarks mentioned on this site that are not ours belong to their owners.

Availability

The site is offered as it stands. Pages may be unavailable while it is maintained, and a grade may be changed or withdrawn as the product develops.

Liability

Liability for goods supplied is limited to the value of those goods. The choice of grade, the formulation, the application and the qualification remain the customer’s decision, and we are not liable for a loss that follows from a choice we did not make. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, and the courts of Nanjing, Jiangsu, have jurisdiction. If you buy from outside China, a supply contract may agree something different; where it does, it governs that supply.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the site changes. The version published here on the day you use the site is the one that applies.
